Crypto Market Data: 25 Major Assets
Price, short-term change, market capitalisation and 24-hour volume for the 25 cryptocurrencies we cover in depth — each one linked to a written explanation of what it is, how its network works and where it can fail.
This table is not a trading terminal and is not trying to be one. We fetch a single batched snapshot on our server roughly every 15 minutes and serve that same snapshot to everyone, which is enough precision to answer questions like "how large is this network compared with that one" without pretending to minute-by-minute accuracy. If you are placing an order, use your exchange's own order book, not this page.
Market capitalisation is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it reflects the coins the provider counts as in circulation, not tokens locked, unissued or burned. Twenty-four hour volume is self-reported by the venues the provider aggregates and should be read as an order-of-magnitude signal rather than an audited figure. Where a provider supplies no value, we print a dash.
Sorting happens in your browser on data already loaded, so changing the sort order never issues another request. Ranks come from the provider's market-cap ordering across the whole market, which is why the numbers in the rank column are not simply 1 to 25.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often does this market data update?
We request one batched snapshot of all 25 assets from CoinGecko and cache it on our server for up to 15 minutes. Every visitor in that window sees the same cached figures, so the page is fresh to within about a quarter of an hour — it is not a trading feed.
Why do some values show a dash instead of a number?
Because the provider did not supply that field for that asset in the current snapshot. We show a dash rather than substituting zero, an older figure presented as current, or an estimate.
What does 'Delayed' mean on this page?
It means our last refresh attempt failed and we are still showing the most recent valid snapshot, with its real age. If no valid snapshot remains within the fallback window, the page says the data is temporarily unavailable instead of showing numbers.
Why only 25 assets?
We cover assets we can also explain properly. Each of the 25 has its own page with written background on how the network works, what it is used for and what its risks are, rather than an automatically generated price table.
